Andaz Papagayo at Peninsula Papagayo - Costa Rica, the first
Andaz Resort in Latin America, is slated to open in December of 2013. Located
in a stunning setting on a slope overlooking the bay of Culebra, the resort
will feature 153 elegant guest rooms including 21 luxury suites and 3 themed
restaurants. Amongst a myriad of activities, guests will have access to 2
exclusive beaches, enjoy 3 pools and can energize and at our luxury spa. Gentle
ocean breezes and breathtaking views are the perfect backdrop for soothing body
massages, facials and body treatments. The spa stars 7 upscale indoor and 2
outdoor treatment rooms, a private pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
The resort will offer 8,200 sqft of multi-functional meeting studios.
With spectacular design by renowned Costa Rican architect Roland
Zurcher, this new Andaz Resort reflects the feeling and flavor of local culture
and traditions in its accommodations as well as amenities. Inspired by the
local flora and fauna, the lay-out of the resort is based on an imaginary
gathering of animals using the shapes of cocoons and shells for the design of
the studios and pools. All guest rooms & suites balance modern design with
touches of history and character and meticulously blend into the natural
habitat that surrounds the resort.
