The glorious Papagayo Peninsula is situated on the coastline of Guanacaste, a province on the northwest coast of Costa Rica. Here can be found banks, grocery stores, a lively nightlife and other conveniences that a traveler may need, and the warmth of welcome from local people is a real bonus - indeed, these towns and villages are also a great opportunity to enjoy many of the annual cultural events that can be found in the region.
