Boat Fuel: The dockside fuel station is open from 6am to 5pm daily, and offers high-octane gasoline and low-sulfur diesel. We offer high-speed dispensing capabilities. Large quantities of bunkering should be arranged as far in advance as possible to guarantee adequate supply.
Electricity: We turn your yacht into your home afloat. Marina Papagayo offers vessels single-phase 30,50 and 100 amps (120 / 240 v) and three-phase 100 amps (208 and 480v). Metered pedestals measure individual boat usage and charges are applied on a consumption basis.
Water: High-pressure potable water is available at every slip and is provided free of charge.
Black water: We offer a state-of-the-art sewer system pump-out at every slip. We are a zero-discharge marina. This service is free of charge.
Foreign trash incineration: Marina Papagayo provides complimentary waste removal from incoming vessels and those already on-site, as well as incineration for foreign trash.
Dock-hand services: Marina Dock-hands are available to serve you from 6 am until 10 pm daily. An integral part of our shore-side crew, they warmly welcome arriving vessels and assist with their lines, and then are able to offer valet service for luggage, transport guests via golf cart, assist with cleaning, servicing, provide for deliveries and help with provisions for your vessel. All special dockhand requirements can be made through our concierge or via VHF Channels 16 and 23A.
Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available at every slip free of charge.
Laundry: Laundry facilities available to crew, condominium owners and guests are found on the first floor of the Marina Centre building to the left, off of the main lobby. The machines are operated on a token system. Coins may be purchased in the Ship’s Store for $2 each. Each machine, washer or dryer, requires only one token to operate a regular load of laundry. Washing supplies, such as detergent and fabric softener, may be purchased in the Ship’s Store. Dry cleaning services may be arranged on request by the marina concierge
Security: Marina Papagayo provides a highly skilled and friendly security staff that monitors the grounds, and assists with directing visitors. They are available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Additional security for visitors and vessels may be requested via our marina concierge
Parking: Public parking is available on the land side of the Marina Centre building, near the fuel dock, and directly in front of the C and D-Dock’s gangways. Please use extra caution when driving to the parking area at the C & D Dock.
Marina Papagayo provides security to monitor the facilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but cannot assume responsibility for any items taken from vehicles. We encourage you to lock your vehicles and to keep your valuables with you.
Emergency services: Medical services including a bilingual part-time resident doctor and skilled paramedics; fire fighters and other trained personnel are available and located on site. For emergencies, please call +506.2696.2001 or via VHF channels 16 & 23A.
Facilities: Marina Papagayo was designed to give visiting boaters the very best in shore-side service and this is reflected in the high standards and careful design of the facilities on offer. Mostly based in the Marina Centre, visitors are able to enjoy a selection of services, whether they be crew, owners or guests of the boats berthed alongside. Nestled in the Marina Village, the Centre and its amenities have been designed to offer a respite of quality and style for those ashore.
