Marina Papagayo

Marina Papagayo is ideally located to offer sailors, sport-fishermen and other boaters a perfect location from which to explore the full array of Costa Rica’s marine and terrestrial treasures, which include exotic jungles, towering landscapes, crashing surf, deserted beaches, and the deep-water haunts of some of the world’s most sought-after gamefish. It is close to an international airport, and modern amenities and conveniences can be found either on-site or close by.  For the travelling adventurer, it is as close to paradise as they will probably ever get.

The marina itself is located approximately 640 nautical miles northwest of the Panama Canal on the Peninsula Papagayo in the Bahia Culebra, an inner body of water in the broad swath of the Gulf of Papagayo. For vessels travelling southwards to the marina, the journey from Cabo San Lucas is approximately 1610 nautical miles. The Bahia Culebra is one of the largest and most sheltered bodies of water in the province of Guanacaste, on the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica. This stunning ecological area is governed from the colonial-style city of Liberia, just 30 minutes away, where an international airport offers several direct flights to many major U.S. Cities.
